The University of Manchester China Centre is centrally located in the Shanghai Centre, a premium business, retail and dining complex on Nanjing Road, one of the city's most vibrant commercial concourses with very convenient transportation. We can offer preferential rates at the Ritz-Carlton hotel which is part of the Shanghai Centre.
We can offer University staff flexible options to meet requirements while they are in Shanghai:
1.We have 3 training rooms. Each has capacity of 50 people for seated events or 100 for receptions.
2.We have 5 meeting rooms. The capacity of rooms varies from 6 to 10 people.
All of our hot desks are provided with everything set up and ready to use: telephones, computers and internet, printers, and a comfortable workspace. We’ll also make sure that there’s a dedicated team to support you with administration and general office management.
We are pleased to welcome any University colleagues and so as long as it is pre booked we will not charge for any individual or group of up to ten people using our facilities for one day. We will arrange incidentals such as refreshments or printing but will wish to be reimbursed for these and any other direct costs incurred in local currency. We may charge for longer term or regular use and the charges below are a guide and only for University of Manchester staff. Payment in these cases may be made in the UK.
