University of Manchester China Centre Alumni Talk

On 12nd March (Tuesday) 2019, the University of Manchester China Centre is delighted to have two Global MBA alumni to share the topic of creative thinking: How to build your brilliant idea.

Allen Mao,  Jan 2013 AMBS GMBA alumnus, is the founder of UoM China Centre alumni continue study club and has organized more than 20 sharing activities in UoM China Centre. He has rich working experiences in fortune 500 companies and is currently a copartner of a start-up company. He has shared the topics of disruptive innovation, strategy innovation and complex selling at UoM China Centre, striving to bring up-to-date business thinking and practical experiences to the audience.






Dr. Jian Li
Head of Healthcare, Intel IoT Group,
China (AI & Edge Computing for Health)

Dr. Jian Li, Founder of UoM China Centre Alumni AI and Big Data Club. Jian has a proven track record in health and life science giants (Philips/Siemens/Medtronic) and his role covers solution incubation, strategic marketing, new product development, P&L management and open innovation, etc. Jian graduated from Peking University with a PhD degree and he also holds a MBA degree from Alliance Manchester Business School. In Intel, his team currently focuses on driving innovative healthcare computing solutions and wide ecosystem collaboration, which mainly falls into genomics medicine, cloud computing, biomedical bigdata analytics, HPC and artificial intelligence, etc.
