With a series of educational policy released during this summer vacation, teachers and practitioners in education sectors are facing huge challenges. At the same time, as non-government education has been strictly regulated, it comes to an urgent need of comprehensive transformation for schools and institutions.

On Thursday, 30th September, 13:00- 14:30 p.m.，The University of Manchester China Centre has invited Ms. Maxine LU, General Principal of Shanghai Xiehe Education Center, to bring a master industry sharing for MA Educational Leadership in Practice programme. As a senior local education expert, Ms. Lu will share her original insights in integrated education, and experiential inspiration of educational leadership.

Guest Speaker: Maxine Lu General Principal of Shanghai Xiehe Education Center Vice Chairman, Shanghai Association for Non-Government Education

Maxine Lu joined the management team of Shanghai United International School (SUIS) in 2003. She participated in or presided over the establishment of SUIS Hongqiao Campus (in 2003), Pudong Campus (in 2008), Wanyuan Campus (in 2012), Wuxi Campus (in 2013), Xiamen Campus and Wenzhou Campus (in 2017), Hefei Campus and Qingpu Campus (in 2019). She is now the General Principal of Shanghai Xiehe Education Center. In 2016 and 2017, Maxine was honored as one of the most influential international school principals by the educational media. In September 2021, Maxine was appointed as the Representative for East Asia for Cambridge International Education Advisory Board by the Cambridge Assessment International Education.
