We cordially invite you to participate in our next Global Part-time MBA Alumni Sharing in Shenzhen on 22nd October, Sunday afternoon.

At this event, Manchester Global MBA senior alumni and current student will meet working professionals in Greater Bay Area to explore leadership challenges in multicultural organisations and the key to successful career transformation. They will also share their insights about their experience during and after their studies at Manchester Global MBA.

Manchester Global MBA alumnus, Mr. Anthony Mak, General Manager, China, SATRA will share his insights with a focus on Navigating Diversity: Leadership Challenges in Multicultural Organizations. Our current Global MBA student, Ms. Ying Shi, Chair of Pharmacy, Shenzhen United Family Hospital will share her own experience of her career transition.

UoM China Centre Director Ms. Sherry Fu will also provide guidance for working professionals to build up the core competitiveness in the workplace as a global business leader.

Mr. Anthony Mak

General Manager, China, SATRA
Manchester Global MBA alumnus (Class of 2017)

Mr. Anthony Mak is the General Manager of SATRA's China operations, responsible for formulating business strategies and supporting the company's sales and marketing operations in Vietnam. With over 26 years of experience in project management, manufacturing, sourcing, corporate communications, international sales, and marketing, he possesses expertise and experience in establishing new business operations in mainland China, Japan, Vietnam, and the United States.

Established in the UK in 1919, SATRA is an independent research and testing organisation focusing on footwear and personal protective equipment (PPE).



Ms. Ying Shi

Ms. Ying Shi, MPharm, PGDipClinPharm, currently sits as Chair of Pharmacy, Shenzhen United Family Hospital, and was previously the Head of Pharmacy at the Princess Grace Hospital (HCA Healthcare) in London, UK. Ms. Shi obtained her MPharm degree from University College London (UCL) in 2006 and obtained her license as a UK registered pharmacist in 2007 and a Hong Kong registered pharmacist in 2010. With 16 years of clinical practice experience and nearly 10 years of pharmacy management experience, Ms. Shi worked as a senior clinical pharmacist at renowned institutions such as The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and several top-tier hospitals in the UK.
