On March 6, 2019, the inauguration ceremony of “My Future” was held at University of Manchester China Centre (“UoM China Centre”) and Mcloud.

“My Future” is a sub-brand created by Mcloud and Future Business School (FBS) to develop a sharing platform for UK returned scholars’ life-long learning, career development, and innovative entrepreneurship.  Through various modules such as online and offline workshops, domestic and international visits and tours, tailor-made business consulting and other services, “My Future”  aims to enhance modes of thoughts, unite knowledge and action, and empower transformation and incubation.

Ms. Sherry Fu and Dr. Xi Feng officially launched “My Future”.

Ms. Sherry Fu, director of UoM China Centre and founder of Mcloud stated that the partnership with FBS is based on Mcloud and FBS‘s mutual vision –remain true to the original aspiration to embrace the future. FBS is a future development platform integrated with learning, data, consulting, entrepreneurship and capital, with the mission to develop talents who can lead China’s future vision, where elites can co-create, co-construct, and co-share.  With a mentoring team of scientists, artists and philosophers, Mcloud, through sharing and uniting, builds a bilateral people-to-people diplomatic platform which connects high-profile corporate leaders and industry-leading experts, links Chinese and British government organizations, and provides exchange and learning opportunities, entrepreneurship consulting for Sino-UK youth.

As a long-term partner of UoM China Centre, Dr. Xi Feng, dean of the FBS pointed out the highlights and advantages: 1, set up online and offline workshops to discuss future trends; 2, add more comprehensive courses and topics to broaden future vision; 3, link wider ranges of networking resources leading to future opportunities; 4, provide enterprise-centric services to promote future exponential growth of enterprises.

The establishment of “My Future” has received great support; the advisory board includes Mr. David Percival, chairman of Manchester China Forum; Professor Elaine Ferneley, director of University of Manchester Worldwide; Mr. David Houle, famous American futurist; Prof. Renmin Zhu, known as China's "Leonardo da Vinci" and director of the Joint Research Centre for Ecological Restoration, Zhejiang University;  Dr. Key Ke Liu, foreign academician at Australian National Academy of Engineering and dean of School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Southern University of Science and Technology; Dr. Xiaobo Wu, former president of School of Management, Zhejiang University; Mr. Timo Lei, president of UoM Alumni Association Shanghai and partner of King & Wood Mallesons; Ms. Xiaohui Wang, famous cross-border artist in China and Germany; Mr. Diansheng Lei, known as contemporary “Xu Xiake” and the Pioneer in World Hiking; and etc.

Based on the principle of “enhance, unite and empower”, “My Future” will launch “My Talk”, “My Walk”, “My Board’ and various series of activities (details to be announced in the near future).
