Alumni Reception with Dame Prof. Nancy Rothwell

In the evening of 18th September, Dame Professor Nancy Rothwell, President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester hosted Beijing alumni dinner in the city centre.

Dame Professor Nancy Rothwell shared updates about recent University developments. About 150 alumni attended the event organized by university DDAR and supported by Beiing alumni volunteers who showed their passion and affiliation to the UoM by continuously supporting DDAR and the Centre for the alumni events in China.

At the reception, Dame Professor Nancy Rothwell warmly welcomed Chinese alumni including alumnus Mr. Daming Liu, the 1st Chinese student who went to the UK on the wheels and an author met and praised by Chinese President Xi.

Celebrating its 11 years of excellence, China Centre will continue to work with alumni associations and DDAR to build up stronger alumni relations in the China Region.
