Ahead of their 24-months study journey, Ms. Sherry Fu, UoM China Centre Director, welcomed the students both online and offline with special welcome remarks. “The Covid-19 pandemic is having a significant global impact and affecting many aspects of our lives. We are delighted that our 1st Asia Cohort of MSc Financial Management went ahead successfully at this challenging time.

“The decision to enroll at The University of Manchester’s online/blended learning course is one that you will not regret taking.”

The new students also shared their expectations and goals for the next two years: “All of us should challenge each other with different perspectives, each of us question the way we have done things so far, keep an open mind to learn and work together to progress towards our career aspirations.”

Representing alumni, Ms. Sophia Song, Director, MNC Coverage at Credit Agriocle Corporate & Investment Banking (Manchester Global MBA Class of 2016) shared some key takeaways from her journey at The University of Manchester. “I had been pushed to my limits, and often found myself well outside of my comfort zone,” she said. “Even graduated from the University, the alumni community also has inspired me with the positive attitudes and kept me well connected with my peers.”
