After obtaining a bachelor's degree in finance and having an exciting work experience in New York at a financial services company, I realized that this field was not fulfilling enough for me. The fashion sphere is indeed where my true career interests lie. Hence, when I came across the MSc in International Fashion Marketing offered by the University of Manchester, it directly caught my attention as it was in accordance with my career goals. The course content, tailored to have a deep comprehension of the fashion world’s dynamics and challenges will, I am sure, help me gain the tools I need to step into and thrive in the fashion industry.

I am excited to start the MSc blended course in International Fashion Marketing at the Manchester University. Throughout the course I wish to gain knowledge to clearly understand the structure and the responsibilities of each department. I expect to treat current issues and enrich my educational and personal background, also through discussions with students from all over the world. Once I graduate, I hope to have collected the skills to follow the path of success in the fashion industry, occupying a fulfilling, creative and dynamic major role, or in product promotion, or in public relations, or event management.

I am a recent graduate looking to further my education and after some research felt that Manchester University was the best place for me to do so. Even though the course is taught online, they still want you to have the best experience you can and to interact with classmates. I am extremely excited to start learning the interesting content and get stuck into our upcoming workshop about how designer brands have to adapt to the restrictions and the online store becoming the flagship.

Currently I'm working in Luxsmart brand management company as brand department manager. It's an honor having a chance to participate the course with like-minded professionals. The schedule of the course provides the flexibility between work and study. I believe the course combines leading industry knowledge and diversified practice opportunities will assist me in developing new insights and equip me to a fashion marketing expert.

I'm delighted to be a member of The University of Manchester! I wish I could learn advanced knowledge of Marketing here. I’m looking forward to making good friends of same interest.

I also want to be a role model of my son to encourage him work harder. Keep on learning, keep on pursuing my dream.

Reboot a new life, it’s never too late!

The University of Manchester was established in 1824, and I was born in 1985. We met in the particular year of 2020, and purple has become my favorite color. In 2021, I will enter the world's top university that I have dreamed of studying. That will be the thing I look forward to the most in my life so far. Today I am proud of being a student of UoM. In the future, I hope that UoM can be proud of me.

I am looking forward to meeting like-minded teaching professionals in similar positions to myself, particularly working in international school environments in leadership roles and sharing ideas of best practice. The course modules also piqued my interest as they are so applicable to my career and aspirations.

With the systematical study of educational leadership, combined with my ten years working experiences in four international schools/academies, I believe I can make a differnce. What I hope to gain from this course is the well-designed curriculum that can help systematically master the core of education leadership. Besides, the would-be classmates are to be of vital importance, as they are no doubt all current or at least potential leaders from schools. The strong academic qualification, the enriched social network, these two will benefit me in the long term.

I am very excited that I am going to start the MA educational leadership in practice course in March at the University of Manchester. There are several reasons why I am attracted by this program. The publications and speeches on international education delivered by Dr. Alex Gardner - Mccaggart, the course director, are quite impressive. It's my great honor to have the opportunity to learn more about educational leadership with him. I believe that the learning journey of the course will benefit my current working practice.
