Recently, Part-time MA Educational Leadership in Practice (Online and Blended-learning) Course has been awarded as the winner of Programme of the Year 2020/21 in The Outstanding Staff Awards for Teaching, Learning and the Student Experience run by the Faculty of Humanities, The University of Manchester. With more than 300 nominations, this award recognises excellence in teaching and student experience.

Developed by Dr. Alexander Gardner-Mctaggart in January 2019, MA Educational Leadership in Practice addresses an innovative teaching method which combines online teaching and offline academic conferences. The format of online and blended-learning allows more working professionals around the global have the opportunity to pursue a Manchester education without putting their career on hold.

With the support of The University of Manchester China Center, this part-time course has been brought to Asia in Feb. 2021.
