Establish Strategic Partnership for Talent Development

On 12th Feb. 2022, The University of Manchester (UoM) China Centre and Halma P.L.C announced strategic partnership to develop management talents in China. Ms. Sherry Fu, Managing Director of UoM China Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr Tom Yu, The University of Manchester DBA alumnus, APAC Talent Director of Halma P.L.C.

Both parties will join forces to empower the business education of senior management talents for Halma. Through diversified measures such as business management training, career development coaching, business forums and company visits, UoM China Centre and Halma shall accelerate talent development, strengthen its management team, and help enterprises to achieve their strategic goals in China based on the world-class academic resources from the University.

Dr. Tom Yu said: “The solid relationship is mutually beneficial, allowing Halma to collaborate in identifying and attracting the more potential talents in China and to better implement the company strategy in China.”

Ms. Sherry Fu highlighted that: “UoM China Centre is honoured to establish the partnership with Halma. By doing so, we will make more contribution to the economic development of both countries ".

Upon the MOU, China Centre will also provide special fee scheme and admission fast track for qualified employees of Halma, China in terms of the world-recognised Manchester Global part-time MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School. During the 24-month study journey, international career development services will be provided.
