Manchester is the only university in the UK to have social responsibility as a core goal. For our alumni and staff, this means we have long been committed to social responsibility through organizing initiatives such as Fundraising Campaign for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust where money are to be raised to buy PPEs for NHS staff.
As 2020’s off to a rocky start, we are reminded of the importance to share, care and love each other. Apart from offering “UoM NoW” Amid COVID-19 alumni event series featuring social responsibility webinars built around alumni and the Centre’s areas of expertise, we are trying to help however we can to give back to the community.
We'd like to raise money to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) to support frontline NHS staff who are combating the COVID-19. Let UoM act now and spread our purple love!
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK with over 20, 000 staffs and responsible for running a family of ten hospitals in Greater Manchester.
During this unprecedented time, let us stand together to show our support for their tireless hard work by raising money to buy PPEs for NHS staff.
To support our fellow alumni and staff in lockdown, a really easy way to do our bit is to DONATE money to buy PPEs for NHS staff. Please circulate this fundraising page to your fellow classmates and spread our purple love.

All donations will go to MFT, THANK YOU for your kindness! We look forward to your participation!
