Pillar 1: Leading Global Transitions，People and Organisations

Leading Global Transitions tackles two key challenges: redefining business purpose to emphasize stakeholder value and redesigning models for a net-zero economy. The course examines ESG roles and key concepts such as financialization and corporate governance.

Leading People and Organisations explores organizational behavior, focusing on the evolution of management practices and their impact on employees. You'll use current research and case studies to address contemporary management challenges.

Pillar 2: Operationalising and Communicating Value

This course will provide you with key knowledge about operations management and marketing. We will encourage you to consider the interactions and potential tensions between these areas, and to critically evaluate the application of theory to real-life contexts. You will also work in multinational groups to develop solutions to marketing and operations management challenges.

Pillar 3: Tailoring Your Journey

Customise your MBA experience with a live business project and our wide range of elective courses. This is your chance to explore a new field of interest, or gain more expertise in a specific area.

Pillar 4: Professional Skills for Business

Which professional and personal competencies do successful leaders require? You will identify and develop these qualities through lectures, workshops and individual guidance sessions. You will also gain access to business practitioners, careers support and our alumni network. This will support you as you plan and execute your post-MBA strategy.

Entry requirements

Global MBA

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with strong career progression and a recognised degree, or 8 to 10 years of managerial experience instead of a recognised degree;
  • Excellent team working, communication, professional and interpersonal skills;
  • Successful completion of the Manchester Admissions Test (online).

Global Finance Accelerated MBA

  • Above 3 with a professional accountancy qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA.

Global Executive MBA

  • Good undergraduate or master's degree or international equivalent;
  • At least 15 years of professional experience with 8-10 years of experience in management roles;
  • Successful completion of the Manchester Admissions Test (online); Excellent communication skills and English competence ;
  • Significant international exposure (preferred).

Tuition Fee

  • Global Part-time MBA  (2 years):£ 40,000
  • Global Finance Accelerated MBA  (18 months): £ 34,500
  • Global Executive MBA  (18 months): £ 44,250
  • Fees can be paid in instalments on a semester-by-semester basis. We also offer a flexible monthly payment scheme.

We have generous bursaries still available for our July 2026 intake, including Early Application Discount (available by 13 May, 2026), 20% UoM Alumni Bursary, 10% upfront payment discount, and 12%-15% scholarship for tuition reduction.
