Guest Speakers

Emma Leaning is from Manchester, England, and has lived in China since 2012. A Bournemouth University graduate and British College of Journalism alumna, she writes two columns for Shanghai Daily: "The Oyster Pail” and "Emma Leaning is MENTAL.” Formerly an editor-in-chief of a lifestyle magazine, Emma actively collaborates with mental health professionals through public speaking and events. Her writing explores the human experience, driven by her passion for authenticity and genuine connection.

Sabeen Irfan is the Community Engagement Director at United Family Healthcare, alumna of Manchester Global Part-time MBA. She has over 20 years of professional experience in healthcare. Areas of expertise include healthcare operations, service line planning and development, patient experience, quality and safety, project management and community engagement. She’s passionate about promoting physical and mental health awareness and often volunteer at such campaigns in the community
