Are you a senior manager, high-level executive or experienced entrepreneur? The Global Executive MBA is an 18-month accelerated pathway of the Global MBA for a closed cohort of senior MBA candidates.

This MBA degree will equip you to lead effectively through uncertainty, seize opportunities to innovate in an ever-changing business landscape, and solve the complex business challenges you face every day in a senior role.

Programme Features

Travelling Cohort: You will attend four core workshop residentials as a cohort in Manchester, Dubai and Hong Kong for greater exposure to international business culture, then choose your own electives at any of our 5 global centres. We provide 26 nights of accommodation across the three core global locations.

Closed Cohort of senior MBA candidates：The Global Executive MBA is an 18-month accelerated pathway of the Global MBA for a closed cohort of senior MBA candidates with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience and significant managerial expertise.

Next Level Networking: To help you make those vital global business connections, our Global Careers Service and Alumni Relations team offer a range of extra events exclusively for Global Executive MBA students. These include a welcome dinner, guest speaker and networking events, and visits to high profileglobalorganisations.

Tailoring Your Journey

Customise your MBA experience with our wide range of elective courses. This is your chance to explore a new field of interest, or gain more expertise in a specific area.

GEMBA+: Professional Skills for Business

GEMBA+ is a suite of extra-curricular experiences that will help you define your goals, enhance your interpersonal skills, build your corporate connections and raise your profile across the world.

Running in parallel with the academic programme, these activities are not credit bearing. They are designed to give you targeted support and motivation to help you through the MBA and beyond.

Entry requirements

Good undergraduate or master's degree or international equivalent;
At least 15 years of professional experience with 8-10 years of experience in management roles;
Successful completion of the Manchester Admissions Test (online); Excellent communication skills and English competence ;
Significant international exposure (preferred).

Tuition Fee

The fee for the Global Executive MBA is £44,250 which can be paid in instalments on a semester-by-semester basis.
Scholarships and bursaries:

To help with fees, we offer scholarships for candidates with excellent achievements. Our scholarships also support cultural and professional diversity in the Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) programme and the school's commitment to social responsibility.

We have a single-discount policy. This means only one discount, bursary, or scholarship can be applied - they cannot be combined.

Candidates selected to the interview stage will be invited to present their case for a scholarship as part of the interview process.

We expect our scholarship award holders to contribute dynamically to all aspects of the programme and become excellent ambassadors to the School and our alumni community.
Company sponsorship:

Applicants who will be receiving substantial (over 50%) financial company sponsorship towards their tuition fees will not typically be considered for a scholarship award.

Corporates supporting multiple employees onto our MBA programmes may be eligible for a corporate discount.
