As the world watches the evolving landscape of American politics, the question remains: what is the lasting impact of Donald Trump’s presidency—and what comes next?
The University of Manchester China Centre and BritCham Shanghai are delighted to extend an exclusive invitation to our alumni, friends and members for a special breakfast talk with Professor Angelia Wilson, a leading expert in American politics, feminist theory, and the politics of hate. In this session, Professor Wilson will unpack “TheTrump Legacy: What’s Next?”, exploring the enduring influence of Trumpism on global democracy, the rise of political populism, and the cultural battles reshaping political discourse.
With her sharp analysis and international media presence—from the BBC and France 24 to The Guardian and Newsweek—Professor Wilson brings a global perspective to one of the most pressing political questions of our time.
