Sherry Fu

Ms. Sherry Fu is the founding director of the University of Manchester Worldwide China Centre in Shanghai. She manages China Centre's business strategies, alumni relations and partnerships in the region. Sherry is standing committee member of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association and vice president of SORSA UoM association. Sherry was appointed as an envoy to Manchester China Forum. She was executive committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai and currently serves as vice chair of the Education Focus Group. She published a few books such as Overseas Chinese Corporate Reputation and Preparing for multiple challenges on the Belt and Road.




Shengke Zhi

Dr Shengke Zhi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Manchester. He is a senior business leader at AtkinsRéalis, responsible for driving growth and strategic delivery across a portfolio of energy transition technologies. He also serves as an elected councillor on Trafford Council and is part of the Shadow Executive responsible for climate change, community development, and public safety. Dr Zhi has been recognised with multiple national and international honours, including the UK Prime Minister's Points of Light Award.




Dennis Xu

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
The University of Manchester

Dr Dennis Xu obtained his Ph.D. from The University of Manchester in 1988, followed by postdoctoral research in human genetics at Yale University School of Medicine (1988–1990). Currently, Dennis serves as a member of the Scientific Innovation Committee of the China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, Presidential Advisor and Distinguished Professor at Fuzhou University, and an industry mentor for Peking University's Yenching Academy.




Larry Li
Director Southwest, British Council
Manchester GMBA Alumnus

Mr. Larry Li graduated from Manchester Global MBA in 2023. As the Director of the British Council in Southwest China, Larry is responsible for UK's cultural relation and education exchanges work in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou provinces and Chongqing municipality, and leading on British Council physical education programmes in China.
