Prof. Duncan R. Shaw is a business-focused expert in data strategy, AI, and digital innovation, helping organisations transform through emerging technologies. He is a professor, consultant, and trainer who equips business leaders and founders with the tools to turn data into a competitive advantage, without needing a tech background.
He specialises in helping organisations: Understand customers more deeply through AI, CRM, Big Data, and the Internet of Things. Apply technologies like Generative AI and Robotic Process Automation for profit, product development, and service innovation. Monetise data, develop new business models, and improve decision-making.
Before academia, Prof. Shaw worked in management consulting, customer satisfaction, engineering, and logistics. He has over 30 years of experience leading business transformation projects across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
He holds an MBA and PhD from Manchester Business School, as well as Bachelor's and Master's degrees in engineering.
