Richard Audas is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Alliance Manchester Business School and Professor of Health Statistics and Economics in the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University. He is Director of the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research and The Memorial University Statistics Canada Research Data Centre. His research focuses on empirical studies of policy issues using mixed methods and the use of evidence in decision-making. His teaching spans economics, policy, research methods and knowledge translation.
Richard has also holds appointments with Bangor University (UK), Otago University (NZ) and Saint Mary’s University (Canada). He is also a Senior Research Fellow with the Macdonald-Laurier Institute.
