11 June, Shanghai | Global MBA Alumni Sharing: From CFO to CEO: Expanding Capabilities and Upgrading Leadership Mindset

In today’s complex and fast-changing business environment, an increasing number of finance leaders are asking themselves an important question: how can they evolve from being functional experts into true business leaders?

The transition from CFO to CEO is not simply a change in title, it requires a fundamental shift in the way one views business operations, organisational leadership, and growth. Beyond solid financial expertise, it demands strategic thinking, leadership capability, and the ability to drive business development from a broader organisational perspective.

On 11 June, the University of Manchester China Centre is delighted to invite alumnus Mr. Allen Zhang to deliver a special sharing session titled: From CFO to CEO: Expanding Capabilities and Upgrading Leadership Mindset.

Mr. Allen Zhang currently serves as Board Member & CEO, East Asia, Chairman of East Asia Management Board, Wanzl Group. Drawing on his own career journey from financial management to corporate leadership, he will share practical insights and key reflections on navigating the transition from finance executive to business leader.
