After relocating to China to follow a passion for adventure, and finding opportunities in the form of market gaps that led to starting both a trading business and a creative tech agency, my introduction to the business world was trial by fire in a foreign market. My passion and resolve to achieve new heights only grew from there. Hitting a new plateau with my work at the Chamber, looking ahead, I seek to enhance my knowledge, skills, and credentials to strive ever forward to new levels.

Working as a professional person in the pharmaceutical industry, I’m committed to following the science to discover, develop and deliver life-changing solutions that increase potential benefits for patients. My ultimate career ambition is to play a leading role in the industry to create greater value for patients.

Through my study in the Global MBA program, I expect to broaden my horizon and transfer my career field to the healthcare industry. I firmly believe this journey with the AMBS is a key to discovering possibilities, embracing inherent challenges, exercising competence in management and becoming a professional manager.

I always have had a passion for healthcare and wanted to provide what is best for our patients and make a greater impact. As a result, I am very excited to be able to join The University of Manchester Global MBA programme, which will help me build business and management knowledge and experience to supplement my master's degree and qualification as a clinical pharmacist. As this programme will be delivered by the professors from Alliance Manchester Business School, it will give me an opportunity to be reconnected back with the UK again - looking forward to it!

I had made a big change in my career in my early 40s - from HR Director to Customer Care Director. To better prepare myself for the business challenge in a VUCA environment, the Manchester Global MBA programme is the perfect solution for me to balance my job and study.

From electronics to FMCG and now E-commerce and food packaging manufacturing, I have been engaged in the professional field of quality management for more than 20 years.
