The Director of the University of Manchester China Centre, Sherry Fu, warmly welcomed the professors and students on behalf of the Centre. Ms. Fu highlighted that since 2021, it is proud to see that nearly a hundred educational professionals have joined the course, achieved personal growth and career development while bringing an international perspective and solid educational leadership framework back to their schools, providing new insights & approaches into their daily teaching and management.

The conference was led by the academic team from the University of Manchester's Institute of Education, including Programme Director Dr. Paul Armstrong, Deputy Director Dr. Bee Hughes, and Professor Steve Courtney, Professor of Sociology of Educational Leadership. The content covered cutting-edge topics such as Models of Educational Leadership, Educational Change, Education Policy, Educational research methodology and etc.

Through project-based teaching methods and case studies, the programme encouraged students to engage in inquiry-based learning. Students were divided into several groups to simulate the founding teams of international schools, considering strategic layouts, sharing concepts of international education development, and reflecting on their leadership performance during the simulation based on their acquired knowledge, fully embodying the project's characteristic of "learning by doing".
