My main interest is in the politics of knowledge production within and for education policy. I work with social and political theories of power, particularly in regard to the study of educational leadership. I have led and participated in a range of ESRC and BA funded projects regarding this focus, with a range of monographs being produced.
Helen’s scholarly work focuses on the politics of knowledge production within and for education policy. Her research engages critically with social and political theories of power, particularly regarding the study of educational leadership and its implications for policy enactment.
Helen has led and contributed to numerous research projects funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the British Academy (BA), with this work resulting in the publication of several influential monographs.
